Dibenzenesulfenimide (PhS) 2NH reacts with many organic peroxides in solution at room temperature to produce radical as well as nonradical intermediates. The stable dibenzenesulfenimidyl radical (PhS) zN. is a key intermediate and provides a convenient means for monitoring these reactions.
