Compounds of the types ReOCl2 (L)(PPh3) and ReOCl (L) 2 were prepared by reacting ReOCl3 (PPh3) 2 with 8-hydroxyquinoline (HL) and its 2-methyl, 2-chloro, 5-chloro, 5-nitro, 5, 7-dichloro, 5, 7-dibromo, and 5, 7-diiodo derivatives.
