Abstract Das Lewis-Base/Lewis-Säure-Paar Trityl-natrium und Triphenylbor sowie analoge antagonistisch wirkende Partner vermögen—wie bereits bekannt—Tetrahydrofuran unter Ringspaltung anzugreifen. Hier werden gleichartig verlaufende Vorgänge beim Dihydrofuran, Cumaran und Dioxan beschrieben und zur Diskussion gestellt.
