By Oswm SILBXRRAD. h previous communications (J., 1921, 119, 2029; 1922, 121, 1015) it was shown that anhydrous aluminium chloride and sulphuryl chloride interact to form aluminium chlorosulphoxide, AlCl&SO,; and that in the presence of sulphur, duminium
