We reported previously that a novel dipeptide alcohol, l-homoserylaminoethanol (Hse-Gly- ol), is a selective inhibitor of eukaryotic DNA polymerase ε (pol ε)[Bioorg. Med. Chem. 2004, 12, 957–962].
