摘要

Pure 2, 3, 5, 6-tetrafluoroterephthalic acid (H2tfBDC) is obtained in gram quantities and high yields (95%) using an optimized synthesis protocol, which circumvents the formation of monosubstituted 2, 3, 5, 6-tetrafluorobenzoic acid, thus avoiding an extensive purification procedure. By reacting H2tfBDC with an aqueous ammonia solution single crystals of (NH4) 2tfBDC (C 2/m, Z= 2) are obtained, which shows an enhanced solubility in water ...
