摘要

An efficient iron catalyzed oxidative degradation process has been developed for selective conversion of environmentally hazardous azo and indigo dyes into nitroarenes and aminoarenecarboxylic acids (anthranilic acids) respectively, using polymer supported tribromide reagent at an alkaline pH.
