Abstract Dans les conditions de la réaction de Schmidt les thiénobenzothiépinones 1, 2 et 13 subissent un réarrangement respectivement en N-benzylthiéno [2, 3-d] isothiazolin-3-one (5) et benzoisothiazolin-3-one (6). Un mécanisme de ce réarrangement est proposé.
