摘要

The reported rearrangement of the tosylate of 2-acetylcoumarone oxime to 2- methylchromonol-3 has been confirmed. A structure for the “acetal” formed in the reaction has been proposed. The rearrangement of 2-benzoylcoumarone oxime tosylate yields flavonol and 2-benzoylcoumaranone-3.
