The anodic oxidations of polyalkyl-substituted cyclopropanes (1–3) and spiro [2. n] alkanes (4–6) were carried out in methanol. Monomethoxyolefin and dimethoxy compound resulted from the selective cleavage at the most substituted carbon–carbon bond.
