Abstract: Pseudo-first-order kinetic acidities have been determined for a series of 2- substituted 1, 1, 1, 3, 3, 3-hexafluoropropanes, 1, l, I-trifluoroethanes, and haloforms by hydrogen, deuterium, and tritium isotope exchange reactions. Techniques of '9F nmr, ir, and scintillation counting were used to determine these acidities.
