IIa; p-nitrophenyl, IIb) were obtained from aryl chlorothionformates and aziridine. They were also unstable at room temperature and gave polymers of low molecular weight. Reaction with concentrated hydrochloric acid at room temperature gave 2-aryloxythiazolines (V) along with larger quantities of acidinsoluble substances (VII).
