Abstract: The reactions of hexafluorobiacetyl, CFCOCOCF3, with mixed anhydrides of phosphorous and phosphoric acids,(RO), POP (0)(OC2H& (R= CHI, C2H& give relatively stable 4, 5-bis (trifluoromethyl)-2, 2-dialkoxy-2-diethylphosphato-2, 2-dihydro-l, 3, 2- dioxaphospholenes.
