Abstract A facile one—pot Arbuzov reaction of α-chlorocarbonyl compounds with P (OEt) 3 and substituted amino urea is described. The highly selective Arbuzov reaction of α- chlorocarbonyl compounds could take place under relatively mild conditions, giving products in high yields.
