摘要

A convenient synthesis of 5-methoxyfuroflavone (6, pongaglabol methyl ether), a constituent of some Pongamia or Millettia genus, was achieved by starting from 2, 4-dihydroxy-6- methoxyacetophenone via a chalcone precursor, followed by treatment with 2, 3-dichloro-5,
