摘要

The reactivity of the halogen in the 0-acylglycosyl 1-halides is due to its being part of an a- halogeno-ether system. A comparison with 2: 3-dichlorotetrahydropyran has been made, and further comparison with 2: 3-dichlorothiacyclohexane establishes that the hetero-atom is
