摘要

Abstract Tellurium-metal exchange reaction of n-butyl 2-pyridinyl telluride derivatives with n- butyllithium or dilithium dimethylcyanocuprate proceeded smoothly to give the corresponding 2-pyridinylmetal derivatives, which are important intermediates for functionalization of pyridines.
