[Hexafluorovalyl 1, 1′] gramicidin S (8), in which two valine residues in the natural gramicidin S were replaced by L-hexafluorovaline (Hfv) residues, was synthesized by the solid-phase-synthesis and cyclization-cleavage method on benzophenone oxime resin.
