Abstract 4-Amino-3-pyridyl carbamates (2a-c) were synthesized as potential acetylcholinesterase inhibitors and acetylcholine releasers on the basis of the reported activity of the analogous N-(4-amino-3-pyridyl)-N', N'-dimethylurea (1).
