Screening Hofmann compounds as CO2 sorbents: nontraditional synthetic route to over 40 different pore-functionalized and flexible pillared cyanonickelates
An extended series of novel functionalized dipyridyl derivatives were synthesized and intercalated between preformed polymeric cyanonickelate sheets to form a family of porous pillared Hofmann compounds which were evaluated as CO2 sorbents.
