摘要

A set of sixteen para-substituted N, N-[(dimethylamino) ethyl] benzoate hydrochlorides structurally related to procaine was synthesized. The apparent partition coefficients were determined by either shake-flask or HPLC methods and were taken as hydrophobic parameters.
