Pieparation of'17, N-Diethylcyanoethynylamine (I).-A solution of 36.5 ml of 1.6 1M n- butyllithium in hexane (58.5 mmol) diluted with 10 ml of dry ether was slowly added to 5.8 g (28.6 mmol) of N,~ Y-diethyl-1, 2, 2-trichlorovinylamine at-20".
