摘要

An efficient non-reductive synthesis of 3-aminomethylindole () was developed from gramine () via 3-phthalimidomethylindole (). The reactions of amine with substituted methyl dithiobenzoates gave 3-(arylthiocarbonylaminomethyl) indoles.
