The diastereoselective electrochemical carboxylation of chiral N-(2-bromoacyl) oxazolidin-2- ones has been studied. This reaction was carried out by cathodic reduction of the C-Br bond, in the presence of carbon dioxide, followed by treatment with diazomethane.
