摘要

A simple and useful method for the reduction of nitriles into the corresponding amines using a tetramethyldisiloxane/titanium (IV) isopropoxide reducing system is described. The synthetic approach is straightforward and provides primary amines as hydrochloride salt in almost quantitative yield.
