摘要

A two-step strategy for disaccharide modulation using vancomycin as a model is reported. The strategy relies upon a glycosyltransferase-catalyzed 'reverse'reaction to enable the facile attachment of an alkoxyamine-bearing sugar to the vancomycin core.
