In an effort to discover a novel cefozopran (CZOP) derivative having excellent antibacterial activity against methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA), we performed chemical modification of the alkoxyimino moiety and imidazo [1, 2-b] pyridazinium group of CZOP.
