摘要

Rotations. 0.100 g. of acid made up to 25 cc. with ti- butanol at 30" gave CYD -0.54'; after refluxing for thirty- four and one-quarter hours, -0.38"; sixty-two hours, -0.30'; one hundred five hours, -0.225'; one hundred thirty-six hours, -0.13'. The half-life period calculated on the basis of a uni- molecular reversible reaction is around seventy hours.
