The palladium catalyzed asymmetric allylic sulfonylation reaction has been investigated employing β-hydroxy-and β-(o-diphenylphosphino) benzoyloxy (o-diphenyl phosphino) benzamides as chiral, non-racemic ligands. The bisphosphine β-benzoyloxybenzamide ligands proved to be the best ligands for this process.
