The synthesis and pharmacological activities of the four stereoisomers of methyl tetrahydro- furan-2-ylmethyl2, 6-dimethyl-4-(2'-nitrophenyl)-l, 4-dihydropyridine-3, 5-dicarboxylate (furni- dipine) are reported.
