摘要

The acidities of nitroalkanes G (CH2) 3N02 were found to be reasonably well correlated with Taft U* CH~ CH~ G con-stants in 50%(v/v) MeOH-H20 (p*= 1.2) and MezSO (p*= 3.4). Reversals in acidity order from that predicted by u* constants were observed, however, for PhSO2 vs. CN, PhS vs. PhO, CH&O vs. HO, and M e vs. H, and it is concluded that substituent effects in the Taft relationship vary with the geometry of the system.
