Abstract: The cobalt complexes of 1, 19-dimethyl-AD-didehydrocorrin (BDHC) and its tetradehydro analogue (TDHC), both having additional double bonds at peripheral positions and an additional angular methyl group compared with the parent corrinoid, have been investigated from the viewpoint of vitamin B,, chemistry.
