(2-Chloroethyl) nitrosoureas, a class of very active antitumor agents, are of interest for the treatment of glioblastoma, Hodgkin's disease, non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, bronchial carcinoma, and gastric cancers.'-5 To date the most widely used in cancer chemotherapy are BCNU, CCNU, and MeCCNU.
