Six (chloromethylstanny1) methanes with structures CH2 (SnMe, C13-,)(SnMe, C13-,) with n= 0-3 and m= 0-2 have been prepared by chlorine-methyl exchange from bis (trimethylstanny1) methane or bis-(trivinylstanny1) methane.
