Abstract Rate constants of base-catalyzed methanolysis and dissociation constants in methanol have been determined for benzoylthiourea (II), 1, 3-diacetylthiourea (III), 1, 3- dibenzoylthiourea (IV), and 1-acetyl-3-benzoylthiourea (V).
