Wlth chlorpromazine (CPZ) and dopamine (DA) In their reduced forms in solutlon, the potentlal of a platlnum electrode was stepped to a value where both specles were oxldlred at diffusion controlled rates. The CPZ'. catlon radical so generated then diffused away from the electrode and encountered reduced DA, which it oxldlred. The rate of oxldatlon was determlned by monltorlng the absorbance due to CPZ'. or dopamlne qulnone (DOQ) using ...
