In order to investigate the generality of this reaction, we have prepared several silanes having one cinnamyloxy ligand and various alkenyloxy groups attached to the silicon (Scheme 1). Compounds 2a-h were irradiated and desilylated, and the photoproducts were separated by chromatography.
