In the IR spectra of hydrazones I-XIV the phosphoryl group gives a strong absorption band in the region 1170-1185 cm-I, and the carbonyl group in the region 1665-1690 cm-l These two bands remain practically unchanged when going from the starting hydrazides to the corresponding hydrazones.
