The keto–enol (K⇌ E) and enol–enol (E⇌ E) equilibria of a variety of trifluoromethyl-β- diketones were investigated using 1H, 13C, 19F NMR spectroscopy, infrared spectroscopy and ultraviolet-visible spectrophotometry in nonpolar solvents.
