Conclusion The dissociation kinetics of TTBB ion are well described by RRKM modeling, which gives strong support to the validity of the QET picture of the dissociation. It is noteworthy that the dissociation was found to be slower than predicted from the loose transition state analogous to the transition state for TBB ion dissociation.
