摘要

In the same way it was established that the acetylation of 9-sec-butyltoluene and m-sec- butyltoluene with aluminum chloride as the catalyst gave a mixture of 2-methyl-5-sec- butylacetophenone(111) and 2-methyl-4-sec-butylacetophenone (IV). The ketone 111 obtained from the acetylation of fi-sec-butyltoluene with ferric chloride as the catalyst formed a yellow 2, 4-dinitrophenylhydrazone.
