摘要

Conclusion The present study and an earlier one demonstrate the ability of R. nigricans to hydrolyze enantioselectively a variety of cyclic and acyclic acetates to yield chiral alcohols of a predictable configuration. The method appears superior to the use of elution order from a chiral HPLC column to assign the configuration of a previously unknown alcohol.
