摘要

The object of this paper is to describe the preparation and properties of a number of arsinic acids and their derivatives which were prepared in connection with our study of diarsyls. By means of an unusual process, namely, treatment of diazotized 2-aminophenylarsonic acid with sulfur dioxide, Kalba obtained a substance which he claimed to be an anhydride of the dihydroxy form of 2-hydroxyphenylarsine oxide,
