制备

富集法以氯化稀土或稀土硫酸铵复盐为原料，提取部分铈后，镧得到相对富集。如以独居石为原料，天然独居石内混合稀土中镧占17％左右，通过以上工艺，镧富集至40％左右。

将稀土硫酸铵复盐用氢氧化钠溶解，经空气氧化其中铈，用稀盐酸浸出，分离得富铈渣，进一步提取铈。滤液为富镧母液，再经萃取分离除铈后，经结晶得富集氯化镧。
