1.在聚乙烯制的反应器(约250mL)中,加入约10g四氯化钒,并放入包裹着聚四氟乙烯的磁子。反应器中装有聚乙烯制的冷凝器。随后,加入20g一氟三氯甲烷CCl3F,并将反应器冷却至-78℃。操作中应急速地通入氮气流,以使湿气不能进入反应系统。在搅拌下使25~30mL无水氟化氢在容器中冷凝。添加完毕后,缓缓提高容器的温度。不到3h使温度降至室温。反应结束后,过剩的氟化氢或溶剂在容器加热至30~35℃时即蒸发除去,而纯四氟化钒将存留其中。

2.在镍舟中加入约5g钒,并置于直径为25cm的镍制反应器中。安装、固定一排玻璃捕集器。加热反应器至150~200℃,并通入用氮气稀释的氟气达2h之久。然后将反应器密封,在干燥箱内打开,则位于反应器出口附近,生成暗绿色的四氯化钒固体。
