【用途一】
用作塑料稳定剂、橡胶熟化剂
【用途二】
用作聚氯乙烯的热稳定剂、硅橡胶的熟化剂、聚氨酯泡沫塑料的催化剂等
【用途三】
可用作聚氯乙烯的热稳定剂,是有机锡类稳定剂中使用最早的品种,耐热必不及马来酸丁基锡,但润滑性优良,耐候性和透明性亦可,与增塑剂有良好的相容性,不喷霜,无硫化污染性,对热合性和印刷性无不良影响。又因其在常温下为液体,故在塑料中的分散性较固体稳定剂好。该品主要用于软质透明制品或半软质制品,一般用量为1-2%。与硬脂酸镉、硬脂酸钡等金属皂或环氧化合物并用有协同效应。在硬质制品中,该品可作为润滑剂,与马来酸有机锡或硫醇系有机锡并用,改善树脂料的流动性。与其他有机锡相比,该品的初期着色性较大,会造成发黄变色。该品还可以用作聚氨酯材料合成时的催化剂,硅橡胶的熟化剂。为的提高本品的热稳定性、透明性、与树脂的相容性,以及提高其用于硬质制品时的冲击强度等性能,现已发展了许多改性品种。一般是在纯品中加入月桂酸之类的脂肪酸,有的还加入环氧酯或其他金属皂类稳定剂等。该品有毒。大白鼠经口LD50为175mg/kg。

二月桂酸二丁基锡制备

(1)二碘代二正丁基锡的制备 由碘、红磷、丁醇、锡粉、镁粉及盐酸、固碱而制得。具体操作方法见马来酸单丁酯二丁基锡的制法。

(2)成品的制备 将月桂酸(工业品)1mol加入反应釜,搅拌下升温至60℃,缓缓加入2.1mol烧碱配制成20%的溶液。碱液加完后,搅拌0.5~1h,升温至80~90℃,加入二碘代二正丁基锡1mol,保持80~90℃,反应1.5~2h。静置15~30min,碘化钠呈固体沉淀析出,经过滤回收后精制。分离出碘化钠的物料经减压蒸馏、冷却、压滤,即得成品。
