1.适用于口腔的溃疡、糜烂以及烫伤、烧伤等的治疗，用大剂量的人表皮因子与毒素结合治疗神经胶质瘤、乳腺癌、皮肤癌取得一定疗效，尤其对鳞状细胞皮肤癌疗效显著。

2.它有延缓皮肤老化，恢复表皮的活力，从而使皮肤恢复柔软、弹性和正常张力，起着防老和抗皱的作用。

3.b-EGF具有促进细胞生长增殖的作用，本品对早秃有明显的治疗效果。

1.以颌下腺为原料的提取工艺
绞碎、提取取颌下腺除去脂肪和筋膜，绞成糜状物，加0.05mol/L HAc液搅拌提取，离心收集提取液。
颌下腺[绞碎]→糜壮物[0.05 mol/L HAc液]→提取液
吸附、洗脱将提取液中加入CMC于冰箱放置，吸附，用pH 3.9的缓冲液洗杂蛋白，再用pH 7.0的缓冲液洗脱。
提取液[CMC]→CMC吸附物[缓冲液]→[pH7.0]洗脱液
二次吸附、洗脱用DEAE吸附洗脱液，以pH7.0缓冲液洗去杂蛋白，分别用0.2mol/L HCl和NaCl洗脱，收集洗脱液。
洗脱液[DEAE]→DEAE吸附物[0.2 mol/L HCl, NaCl]→洗脱液
冻干、精制将洗脱液冻成干粉，再将冻干粉溶解，上SephadexG-75柱，收集流出液精制，冻干得精品。
洗脱液[冻干]→冻干粉[SephadexG-75柱]→EGF精品。

2.从小鼠额下腺分泌物和人尿中分离而得，也可从牛脑组织中提取，经标准化结合后组成。
