1、吡喃法:由丙烯醛与乙烯基乙醚以锌铝盐为催化剂,在90℃以下,0.1MPa压力下,环合成2-乙氧基-3,4-二氢吡喃,反应锅内密闭搅拌1hr,静置半小时,即得戊二醛溶液,将乙醇蒸出,使成25%溶液,转化率达95%。或加碳酸氢钠中和,以食盐饱和,然后用乙醚提取2次,回收乙醚后,减压蒸馏,收集75-81℃(2kPa)馏分,获得纯的产品。
2、吡定法:将吡啶还原成二氢吡啶,再用羟胺处理得到戊二肟,最后用亚硝酸钠和盐酸分解戊二肟,分解产物即为戊二醛。该法转率可达90%。
3、氧化法:利用烯烃或醇为原料,通过氧化反应制备醛。氧化剂可以是双氧水、臭氧、有机过氧化物。
4.以丙烯醛与乙烯基乙醚反应进行水解合成。由丙烯醛和乙酸基乙醚以锌盐为催化剂,在90℃下、0.1MPa压力下,环化成2-乙氧基-3,4-二氢吡喃,再经水解开环,转化率达95%。
5.丙烯醛和乙酸基乙醚在锌盐催化剂的作用下,于一定温度和压力下发生环化反应,再经水解开环制得。
6. 还原法 以羧酸或羟酸衍生物经还原合成。
