7-甲基鸟苷5'-二磷酸钠抑制真核生物起始因子与呼肠孤病毒封盖的mRNA的结合以及涉及未封盖mRNA或18 S rRNA的复合物形成[1]。Tbrucei mRNA去盖酶(TbDcp2),从封端RNA中切割7-甲基鸟苷5'-二磷酸钠以生成pRNA,pRNA是TbCe1的底物[2]。
