YLC2-155 is a novel potent HIV-1 reverse transcriptase (RT) inhibitor that inhibits both polymerase (IC50=2.6 uM) and RNase H function (IC50=0.65 uM) of RT; binds at the RNase H (RNH)-active site in multiple conformations; demonstrates inhibition of fully infectious HIV-1 (strain NL4-3) with EC50 of 6.7 uM in cell-based assays.
